The project was born from the desire to create an immersive and evocative sound installation in which to present the "discovery" of a reel containing an unreleased recording of the song "Onde".
To create the installation, 3000 meters of audio cable were used and more than 120 speakers suspended from the ceiling at different heights which surround the tape inserted inside a case on a pedestal positioned in the center of the room which appears like an artefact archaeological.
Thanks to a software system created specifically by the artist and the use of sensors, the speakers broadcast an ever-changing "distorted", "granular" and "dystopian" version of the track which is spatialised, creating a dynamic sound environment.
Only when the users are in front of the display case containing the tape is the music returned in its real nature allowing its original listening.

Il progetto nasce dalla volontà di creare una installazione sonora immersiva e suggestiva nella quale presentare il “ritrovamento” di una bobina contente una registrazione inedita del brano “Onde“.
Per la realizzazione della installazione sono stati utilizzati 3000 metri di cavo audio e più di 120 altoparlanti sospesi dal soffitto a diverse altezze i quali circondano il nastro inserito all'interno di una teca su di un piedistallo posizionato al centro della stanza che appare come un reperto archeologico.
Grazie ad un sistema software realizzato ad hoc dall'artista e all'utilizzo di sensori, gli altoparlanti diffondono una versione “distorta”,”granulare” e ”distopica” sempre diversa della traccia che è spazializzata creando un ambiente sonoro dinamico.
Solo quando i fruitori sono davanti alla teca contenente il nastro la musica viene restituita nella sua natura reale consentendone il suo ascolto originale.
